Abstract

This research aims to design an electronic training environment and measure its effectiveness to provide female students with home economics the skills of using satin ribbons in terms of students ’cognitive attainment and their skillful performance associated with using satin ribbons to create an integrated product.
The research followed the descriptive approach through the study of the topic of research, preparation and design of the electronic training environment, and a presentation of the stages of preparation for the electronic training environment, and also the semi-experimental approach, as this research belongs to the category of experimental research that requires measuring the effect of independent variables on dependent variables, and the semi-experimental approach is considered One of the most appropriate approaches to measuring the effect of independent variables on dependent variables.
The search tools were: A- Experimental treatment material: represented in an electronic training environment. B- Measurement and evaluation tools: They are as follows: 1- Achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect. 2- A skill test to measure the skill performance. 3- A note card.
The results of the research that there were differences between the results of the pre and post applications for both the achievement and skill tests for both the experimental and control groups, and all of them were in favor of the post application, and the results when comparing the dimensional applications of both the experimental and control group showed the superiority of the experimental group in both the achievement and skill tests
