The effectiveness of the flipped learning strategy in building the skills of preparing models of children's dresses for students of the clothing and textile department in light of the face of the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19)

Abstract

The research aims to measure the effectiveness of a reverse learning strategy related to the skill of preparing models for children's dresses in light of the Coronavirus pandemic on the cognitive achievement and skill achievement of the "Advanced Studies in Models" course for students of the third year, Department of Clothes and Textile,The research sample consisted of (250) male and female students in the third year - Department of Apparel and Textile - Faculty of Home Economics - University of Menoufia,The research tools included educational videos on (the e-learning platform) explaining the preparation of models of children's dresses, a pre and post application, an achievement test, a skill test, and a questionnaire to measure students' opinions towards the flipped learning strategy. The research followed the descriptive analytical and experimental approach, and the results of the research resulted in the existence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the pre and post application of the achievement and skill test in favor of the post application when using the reverse learning strategy in preparing models for children's dresses, and the positive opinions of students in the direction towards using a strategy Flipped learning,The two researchers recommended the importance of preparing more special studies in systems designing models using a flipped learning strategy, and using it in practical lessons as a self-learning method because of their positive impact on learning basic skills
