Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe and analyze the Egyptian military badge and use it as a decorative unit to enrich the clothes of children in the late childhood period. It provides a dressing vision that contributes to the development of children's national consciousness at this stage. The search tools used were a questionnaire form for the opinions of the specialized arbitrators towards the proposed designs. The research was based on the descriptive and experimental approach: the descriptive method for describing and analyzing military badges and how to use them as units that enrich children's clothing; and the experimental method for using automatic embroidery in the implementation of these designs. The researcher designed (15) a design suitable for children in late childhood: (5) a flute, (5) a shirt, and (5) a sweatshirt. Following the statistical processing of the data, the results of the research found that military badge could be used as a decorative unit that enriched children's clothing, as well as that automatic embroidery could be used to carry it out.
