Abstract

The aim of the current research is to study the strategies of the housewife's adaptation to home quarantine in light of the Corona pandemic and its relationship to some demographic variables, and the research Tools were represented in the general family data form, the questionnaire of the strategies of the housewife's adaptation to the home quarantine of the Coronavirus, and the research sample consisted of (193) housewife with specific characteristics (1) An Egyptian (2) married, (3) with children, (4) a contemporary of home quarantine for the Coronavirus (5), she belongs to different social and economic levels. The sample was taken in an objective manner according to specific characteristics. The research used the descriptive and analytical approach, and the results of the research: The most used coping strategies among the research sample is a preventive confrontation strategy, while the least used strategies are engaging in enjoyable activities. The participation rate of independent research variables differs in explaining the variation in the strategies of the housewife to adapt to the home quarantine of the Corona virus, as the most influential variable was the monthly income of the family, followed by the age of the head of the family, while the educational level and the level of anxiety did not show an effect on the strategies of adapting to the home quarantine according to the weights Regression coefficients and degree of correlation
