Methods of persuasion in child theater performances and their role in strengthening values

Abstract

The study derives its importance from the importance of children's theater as an educational, educational and entertaining method that contributes to the upbringing and formation of children, as well as from the importance of employing persuasion methods as a supportive means in presenting and forming values in theatrical performances presented to children.
The study aimed to identify the values contained in children's theater performances, and the most important persuasion methods used to consolidate these values.
The study reached a set of results, including:
The most important values included in the theatrical performances of the study sample were: cooperation, scientific thinking, friendship, order, justice, recognition of error, tolerance, altruism, honesty, and belonging.
- The diversity of persuasion methods that were employed to support the values contained in the theatrical performances, and these methods were: repetition, presentation of evidence, provoking guilt, stirring fear, arranging arguments in the play, using trends and needs present, explicitly or implicitly, the message summary.
