Forward-Looking Vision for Development of Home Economics Curriculum in the Light of Requirements Quality of Value Construction for Preparatory Stage

Abstract

The research aims to identify a proposed forward-looking vision in light of requirements quality of value construction for development of home economics curriculum for preparatory stage, and to achieve this goal the researchers designed a previous list in the field of values, and this list was presented to specialized professors to express their opinion, and from that the final picture was reached. For the list, and analyzing the home economics curricula for the three grades of the preparatory stage, the descriptive analytical approach was used by analyzing the content of the home economics books for the preparatory stage in order to extract the values included in them and classify them according to the values included in the list of the proposed value building, and the research sample included the home economics books for the preparatory stage (The first, second, and third), and it included six books; by two books (one semester and a second semester) for each of the three research sample classes, and a list of the value building requirements necessary for the preparatory stage students was prepared, after reviewing the references and Previous studies in this regard and making use of them in building the list, and the categories of analysis in the current research were represented in the values included in the list of building requirements The proposed values, and it included (9) basic values, (67) sub-value. The sentence was used as a unit of analysis as it gives the full meaning in a more accurate way.
