Applying strategy of distance education in teaching media courses and it's relation with students understanding and recalling information

Abstract

The research aimed at detecting the extent of applying the strategy of distance education in teaching information courses for students of educational information in faculty of specific education at Minia university under Corona Virus spread and the relation of this with students understanding and recalling information. The descriptive method was used. A random sample of (400 items) from students of educational information from the fourth grades was used as much as (100 from each group ) . The research findings found that there is a reverse correlation between applying the strategy of distance education in teaching information and students understanding and recalling information and there are non statistically significant differences between males and females (the study sample) in their benefit from distance education in the field of specialization, as well as there are non statistically significant differences between the study sample in their benefit from distance education in the field of specialization according to the variable of residence (rural–urban). The study findings found also that there are statistically significant differences between school years in their benefit from distance education in the field of specialization on behalf for the (second graders. It was established that there are non statistically significant between males and females (the study sample) in understanding and recalling information in the light of distance education. It was also established that there are non statistically significant differences between the study sample in understanding and recalling information in the light of distance education according to the variable of residence.
