Abstract

Summary of the research :-
Research aims Identify one of the important methods for deciphering and interpreting the modern notation method for the research sample, compiled by the German author Helmut Lachmann for a single cello. Research Results The work consists of 14 parts, each part is characterized by a specific vocal resonance, which is the basis on which the work was divided, the first part makes two sounds, the first (scratching) from the friction of the arc over the horse, and the second sound (glysando) from sliding the thumb on the strings, and the second part is characterized by the sound ( Swish) from the thumb rubbing against the arch wood from the inside, and so on until the end of the work, the presence of a metronome at the beginning of the work, noir = 66, which is only an approximate speed of long notes and melodic fragments only, and except for that the whole work must be performed by thinking of vocal colors that are naturally to be performed freely In approximate times, and the evidence is that cello players perform the same work in periods of time ranging from seven to nine minutes, with a difference of two minutes, it is possible That this work be classified as a pioneering work in the field of acoustic color music and at the same time in the modern method of notation that we call graphic notation. The research concludes with recommendations and a list of references.
