Abstract

The aim of the current research is to Study the contribution of marital compatibility with its aspects to achieving parental competence in its dimensions among married minors and adults, and the research tools are the general family data form, the marital compatibility questionnaire, and the parenting questionnaire, and the research sample consists of (211) wife with specific characteristics (1) Evaluation with her husband (2) They have more than one child or girl, who belong to social levels, and the research used the descriptive and analytical approach, and among the most important results of the research: The most important reasons for the marriage of minors we find in the research sample are customs and traditions, followed by an increase in the number of families, followed by ignorance, then Poverty, While the lesser causes were the death of the father and the mistreatment of the parents, There is a statistically significant effect of marital compatibility in its dimensions in achieving parental competence, there are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of married and married women in both compatibility with marriage and its dialogue and We recommend that performance of parenthood Spreading awareness among different groups of society and media about the danger of marriage at an early age, especially Girls, for this normal life to be in normal growth to be able to know the responsibilities and burdens of marriage and family affairs.
