Employing Automated Knitting Scraps to Enrich Children's Jeans Clothes

Abstract

The current research aims to add an aesthetic and functional value to children's clothes by decorating them with cartoon characters from scraps of automatic knitting fabrics, and the importance of the research lies in shedding light on a new method for decorating children's clothes using scraps of automatic knitting fabrics and opening new areas for small and medium enterprises, and the current research followed the descriptive and experimental approach, Its tools included (a questionnaire of mothers ’views of children’s favorite cartoon characters, a questionnaire to evaluate the products implemented by specialized referees, Questionnaire evaluating products implemented by mothers), and in the end the research reached the following results:

1-There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented in achieving the aesthetic aspect according to the judgments ’opinions.
2- There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented in achieving the innovative aspect according to the opinions of the arbitrators.
3- There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented in achieving the functional aspect according to the opinions of the arbitrators.
4- There are statistically significant differences between the designs executed in achieving the technical aspect according to the opinions of the arbitrators.
5- There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented in the overall degree of design aspects (aesthetic, innovative, functional, and technical) according to the opinions of the arbitrators.
6- There are statistically significant differences between the designs implemented according to mothers' opinions.
