A training program to develop the skills of synthesizing artificial leather with crochet to enrich home furnishings

Abstract

The research aims to build a training program in developing the skills of synthesizing faux leather materials with crochet to enrich home furnishings, and to demonstrate its effectiveness.
The importance of the research is due to the fact that the training program qualifies students of the fourth year, through the project material, to meet the requirements of the labor market.
The two researchers used in applying the research several tools (achievement test - skill test - assessment scale - students ’opinions questionnaire) and the tools were judged by specialists, and the results resulted in the following: -
1- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the pre and post application of the training program in favor of the post application.
2- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the pre and post application of the achievement test in favor of the post application.
3- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the pre and post application of the skill performance test in favor of the post application.
4- The students' opinions are positive about the training program to develop the skills of synthesizing artificial leather material with crochet to enrich home furnishings.
Which indicates the effectiveness of the training program and the formation of positive opinions towards it.
