Abstract

Nanotechnology and its role in improving the properties of medical clothing for workers preparing treatment for cancer patients

The current study deals with the treatment of some types of fabrics for use in medical staff clothes for preparing chemotherapy with different concentrations of nanoparticle silica and chitosan, with the aim of reaching the most appropriate conditions for the process of treating different types of cotton and mixed fabrics that are used in the manufacture of clothes for medical workers Especially used in the preparation of chemotherapy for cancer patients, An Analysis of Covariance (ANOVA) test and LSD test were performed to show the significance of the differences in absorption time between samples according to the difference in the concentration of the treatment substance, the difference in the material and the difference in the histological composition.
The results concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the samples due to the difference of both the tissue composition factors, the type of material and the degree of concentration of the treated substance at the level (0.05
