This study aimed to identify the nature of theatrical sketches presented to children in the basic education stage in terms of containing educational ideas and not relying on humor only and being devoid of intellectual content, and the researcher relied on a content analysis tool to analyze the content of the sketches. Students of the third year theater at the Faculty of Specific Education, Menoufia University, during the field training period at the Martyr Suleiman Abdel MoneimMakled Official School of Languages and the Ashmun Official Language School (both affiliated to the Ashmoun Educational Administration - Menoufia Governorate)) The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are 1- The sketches discussed a number of issues that require treatment in order for the child to move away from them, such as injustice as in the “Al-Basha and Awadin” sketch, greed as in the “Awadin Al-Falah” sketch, lying as in the “Mayor and Al-Ghafir” sketch, as well as the problem of fraud and defrauding people as mentioned in the sketchAbu Gawash 2-The characters of the sketches came with many aspects of humor, which made them present the sketches in an easy and familiar way that the child accepted
