The Impact of the Personal E-Learning Environment (Participatory - Individual) on Developing the Knowledge Economy Skills of Educational Technology Students

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to reveal the effect of the personal e-learning environment (participatory - individual) on developing the knowledge economy skills of the fourth year students, a computer in the Education Technology Department of the Faculty of Specific Education - Minia University. The descriptive approach was used in preparing the theoretical framework for the research and designing its tools, which were represented in the (Knowledge Economy Skills Scale), as well as in analyzing and interpreting results, and providing recommendations and proposals. The quasi-experimental approach was also used to verify the research hypotheses, and the research was applied to a sample of (62) A male and female student in the fourth year, a computer at the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University, were divided on a regular basis randomly into two groups, one of which used a personal participatory electronic learning environment and the second used an individual personal electronic learning environment. The results resulted in the effectiveness of the personal participatory electronic learning environment in developing the skills of the knowledge economy, which were represented in: (the skill of creativity and innovation - the skill of effectively dealing with cognitive diversity - the skill of cooperation and teamwork - the skill of information and communication technology - the skill of problem solving and decision-making).
