The effectiveness of using embroidered textile handicrafts to reduce the manifestations of attention deficit accompanied by hyperactivity of children and its reflection on the skill of decision-making

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on the use of handicrafts to alleviate the manifestations of attention deficit accompanied by hyperactivity for children and its reflection on the skill of decision-making. The study sample consisted of (19) children in the age group between (6-12) years of frequenting the Palace of Culture In El Sayeda Zeinab area - Cairo. The study tools included the study tools on - a general and private data form for families and children - a form for the diagnosis of attention deficit disorders accompanied by hyperactivity - a measure of decision-making skill - the training program.
The search results have yielded:
There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group "children who suffer from some manifestations of lack of attention accompanied by hyperactivity" in alleviating some manifestations of lack of attention accompanied by hyperactivity of children, which reflected positively on their decision-making skill before and after the application of the training program in favor of the post application.
Also, a negative correlation was found between attention deficit accompanied by hyperactivity and their decision-making skill at significance level 01.
