The Effectiveness of Mobile Learning in Imparting the Skill of Repeated Stitching to Decorate Clothes of Hand Knitting

Abstract

the current research aims to measure the effectiveness of mobile learning in providing students with the knowledge and skills side in implementing the duplicate (double) stitches for decorating children's clothes from manual knitting, and the importance of the research is summarized in emphasizing the importance of integrating educational technology and technological innovations in Teaching various disciplines in general, clothing and textile specialization in particular, and the importance of using mobile learning applications in the teaching process The study sample consisted of (50) female students of the fourth year in the Department of Home Economics, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University, and the current research followed the descriptive, analytical and quasi-experimental approach, and the results resulted in the following :

There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the pre and post application of mobile learning in imparting the skill of repeating stitches to decorate clothes from hand knitting in favor of the post application.
There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the pre and post application of the achievement test in favor of the post application.
There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the pre and post application of the skill performance observation card in favor of the post application.
There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the pre and post application of the scale of skill performance assessment in favor of the post application.
There is a positive trend among female students towards the use of mobile learning with regard to:

• Feeling satisfied with mobile learning.
• The trend towards the effectiveness of using mobile learning in education.
