Abstract

In the present era, the emergence of nanotechnology, which gives great attention to all scientific and research bodies, the study tried to answer several questions: What is the possibility of producing "umbilical ligaments" for the newborn child from raw materials with functional characteristics that fit him, and treatment using nanotechnology Against the microbes, and their effectiveness in the prevention of "navel infections, and the achievement of the child's health safety component, the research aims to know the effect of the treatment of gauze fabrics Tannic acid and chitosan and natural extract of tangerine peel and reach the most suitable treatment for each of them, The fabrics produced were treated with different concentrations of the treatment materials (2.5% -5%)The laboratory tests were carried out for treated and untreated gauze fabrics (weight per square meter, water absorption, hardness, softness of the texture, microbial tests for the growth of Escherichia Coli and Bacillus gram) ). The results showed that the treatment of heavyweight gauze fabrics is best for some different performance properties after treatment (5% chetosen) such as resistance to bacterial growth and weight per square meter, but the softness of the texture is reduced and the roughness of the surface is increased and the water absorption time is increased by an ideal area (512) Quality (96.3),The sample produced from the treated gauze cloth (with 5% tangerine peel extract) is better for some performance properties such as resistance to bacterial growth and weight per square meter slightly less than chetosen, but the softness of the texture is increased, the surface roughness and the hardness of the fabrics are increased, (398.8) and the quality factor (88.3). In comparing the treated and untreated samples to resist bacterial growth, the untreated samples showed no resistance to bacterial growth, either Bacillus or E-coli.,The best samples were installed with the baby's vest inThe area of the child's navel because it is the first piece that touches the child's body to protect and prevent the child from catching umbilical infections and speeding his recovery, thus reducing the burden on the mother to care for her newborn
