The production of a Digital Game of Discovery Style and its Effect in Reducing Reading Difficulties among the First Grades of the Primary Stage

Abstract

the research aimed to reduce reading difficulties among first grades of elementary school students by measuring the effect of a digital game of discovery style on it and developing reading skills (forming a word from a group of letters - combining phonemic syllables to form a word - reading a word with a short extension - reading a word with an extension Long - analyze the word into phonemic syllables - create a useful sentence - split the sentence into words).
  Follow the experimental curriculum with experimental design with one experimental group (before / after) and the research group consisted of (6) pupils from the second grade of primary school, who were determined in an intentional way, through the opinions of the class teachers. The Diagnostic Difficulty Reading Scale was prepared by Fathi Al-Zayat. The experimental treatment material was the production of a digital educational game of the discovery pattern according to the general model of the general design, which does not require complex skills to deal with the game through the computer (drag and drop).
 Measurement tools included a scale for diagnosing reading difficulties, the preparation of Fathi Al-Zayat, an intelligence test, preparing a secret reverence, an achievement test for distinguishing letters, preparing the researcher, and a test for reading skills.
The results of the research resulted in the effectiveness of the digital game prepared with the discovery mode in reducing reading difficulties among primary primary grades, and the research recommends the need to adopt such strategies in pupils ’learning
