Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of the fishbone strategy in teaching the basic fundamentals of Arabic music on achievement at both the level of remembering, understanding, applying and collecting as a whole for first-graders at the Faculty of Specific Education, and to verify this, both the teacher’s guide and the
 
student’s worksheets have been prepared for use when teaching Using the fishbone strategy, and an achievement test at the level of recall, understanding and application, The research used the quasi-experimental method of the two groups, and the results showed the effectiveness of the fishbone strategy in teaching basic fundamentals in Arabic music on achievement at the level of recall, understanding, application and achievement as a whole for first grade students at the Faculty of Specific Education. The high level of experimental group students who studied using the fishbone strategy in achievement compared to the level of their counterparts students of the control group who studied in the usual way, is due to the use of the fishbone strategy and the organizational and scientific characteristics of this strategy that helped greatly in developing the skills and capabilities of students to research and investigate And thinking, and creating positive trends and a strong desire to pursue activities and educational material, which reflected positively on their achievement Research Recommendations In light of the research results, the following recommendations could be presented: 1- Using the fish bone strategy to teach the materials of the Music Education Division at the Specific Education College because of its effectiveness in achievement. 2- Training the teachers - during service - on using the fish bone strategy to teach music education. 3- Creating classrooms with educational materials and methods that allow students to practice activities that take into account the interests and needs of students and help raise the level of achievement.
