The Benefit of the aesthetic values of the Minya Government heritage in creating a suggested national costume for women

Abstract

    Throughout the ages, the costume is considered to be the outcome of a people whose attributes and characteristics reflect their identity that characterize it, and that preserving the appearance of the people is part of the revival of its heritage because it preserves the identity of a nation or country with an honorable history, so the current research aims at reaching the design of a national costume that reflects our identity through innovative designs from the heritage of Minya Governorate. The research sample consisted of the (8) designs for a suggested national costume for women in the governorate of Minya using some heritage decorations and symbols, as well as the colors of of Minya governorate flag and logo. The current research adopted the experimental descriptive approach and its tools included (questionnaire form for the specialists' opinions about the implemented designs, questionnaire form about the opinions of women in Minya governorate about the idea of the suggested national costume). The results are as follows:
 
 1- There are statistically significant differences between the implemented designs in terms of the aesthetic aspect, according to the opinions of specialists.
2-There are statistically significant differences between the implemented designs in terms of accomplishing the functional aspect according to the opinions of specialists
3-There are statistically significant differences between the implemented designs in terms of accomplishing the innovative aspect according to the opinions of specialists
4-There are differences of statistical significance between the average scores of arbitrators and the legal average in the creation of a national costume proposed for women.
5-There are Positive views of women in Minya governorate towards the suggested national costume.
