Design and Implementation of Functional Clothing Suitable For the Needs of Disabled Children

Abstract

The problem of research is that the disabled child faces many problems and difficulties to meet his daily needs to wear and take off clothes, which affects his / her psychological and physical condition. This is reflected in the surrounding society, so that it becomes non-social and non-social, using the descriptive approach to identify the difficulties and problems facing the disabled child. Wear and take off clothes. Results have resulted in:

Identify the problems and difficulties faced by physically disabled children "upper limbs" when wearing and removing normal garments.
Design (46) male and female models in middle and late childhood, where acceptance was found in the functional, aesthetic, productive and marketing aspects and the use of the elements and elements of design according to the evaluation of specialists and producers in total percentages (69%: 99.3%) for boys, 63.8% %) Girls.
Practical implementation of some of the proposed design designs and number (12) design.
The functional designs fulfilled the functional needs of the disabled child. The upper limbs were able to complete the wear and tear of the executed designs in the shortest possible time and to provide independence, which reflects on his psychological state and helps him to integrate with his peers in the surrounding society.
