The Public Exposed the Crime News in the Local Media and its Relation to the Crime in Society

The present  study seeks to observe the audience follow up for crime affairs  in local media  means  and it's relation with the actual reality of the crime at the community in purpose of  recognizing the forms of coverage and handling  the programs of crime and  the reasons of it's follow up or disinclined . The study  relied upon  the descriptive method by using the field aspect and a questionnaire on a sample of ( 405 ) items of  North Upper Egypt students . 
The results concluded the rising of  viewing the program of  "Oyoon Elshaab" at Elsaead" channel in order to  know the reasons of  committing crimes  in the society.
‌  Not following   incidents in the regional  newspapers  regularly because these news spread undesired  behavior from subjects point  of views.
‌  The study   demonstrated  that there are statistically  significant  differences  between local  media means  in case of  audience exposure for the crime  news.
‌  There are  statistically  significant  relationship  between  following up the crime news  in the local  media means and  the crime  reality and the crime reality  in the society.
‌  There are statistically significant  differences  between the economical  levels and observing the crime reality  in the society.
