The Teaching Needs of the Qualitativ Teacher in Light of the Requirements of the Labor Market for Teaching People with Special Needs

Abstract

The qualitative teacher, like others in other professions, is required to continuously develop himself, and the qualitative teacher specializing in teaching for people with special needs has an important role in providing educational opportunities that help students develop their various abilities, and in providing students with different situations that challenge their abilities at different levels of understanding Or knowledge. And to activate the role of a qualitative teacher specialized in teaching for people with special needs to the best, it was important to determine the teaching needs that he must adhere to in his teaching work. To be an educational guide and guide for the teacher specializing in teaching for people with special needs, which contributes to improving learning.
The teaching needs consisted of five main axes, which are: "the knowledge aspect and professional development, the planning side, the executive side, the administrative aspect, and the evaluation aspect"; Which aimed to develop the qualitative performance of the teacher, and encourage him to bring about change in order to improve and raise the efficiency of students, and to reach the desired goals.
The current research sought to answer the following:

What are the teaching needs that must be met in the qualitative performance of the teacher in teaching for people with special needs?
What is the proposed vision for developing the qualitative teacher performance in light of the teaching needs?

-      To answer the two questions, the following was constructed:
-      A questionnaire to determine the teaching needs of a qualitative teacher.
-      An interview card with a number of male and female teachers to determine the importance of these teaching needs.
The proposed vision for developing the performance of a qualitative teacher specializing in teaching for people with special needs in light of the teaching needs that have been identified.
Using the SPSS statistical analysis model, and the raw scores were analyzed for the research, and this analysis resulted in the following results:

Some teaching needs must be met by the specific teacher who specializes in teaching for people with special needs.
A proposed perception was developed to develop the qualitative performance of the teacher for teaching for people with special needs in light of those teaching needs.
