Effectiveness of Scamper's Strategy to Develop Productive Thinking in Teaching Aids and Academic Self-Efficacy for Student Teachers of Home Economics

Abstract

The objective of the research was to identify the Effectiveness of Scamper's strategy to develop productive thinking of the Teaching aids and the Academic self-efficacy of the student teachers of Home Economics. To achieve this, a productive thinking test was prepared, a note card to evaluate the production of teaching aids, and the measure of academic self-efficacy, and to prevent the credibility and stability of tools. The research followed The Semi-experimental methods based on the design of pre and post experimental treatments through the experimental group and the control group. The research sample consisted of (83) students of the second Students of the Second year, Educational Division, Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University, Were divided into two groups (42) of the control group, which produced the teaching aids according to the usual steps, (41) for the experimental group produced the teaching aids according to Scamper's steps. The results of the research showed that there is a big effect of Scamper's strategy in the development of productive thinking for Teaching aids and academic self-efficacy for student teachers of Home Economic.
Based on the results of the research, a number of recommendations were made. The most important of these recommendations was the increased interest in the use of Scamper's strategy in the teaching of teaching courses as an effective strategy in the development of productive thinking and the production of innovative teaching aids, and increase the academic effectiveness of student teachers of the Home Economics
