Abstract

The research aimed to study the negative effects resulting from thechildren's
practice of electronic games in the late childhood and adolescence stages from the viewpoint of mothers.The analytical descriptive approach was used.The research sample included (200) Mother who had a boy or girl at the age of (6-16) years from Alexandria and Beheira governorates,and empowering them intentionally.The research tools included a general data form and contained data specific to both the Son/daughter and his/her mother, a questionnaire on the practice of electronic games, a questionnaire on the effect of electronic games on violent behaviors, a questionnaire on the effect of electronic games on behaviors to refrain from studying, and a questionnaire on the effect of playing electronic games on the state of health He continued (digital eye fatigue and weight gain), and the data was emptied using Spss.The results resulted in a statistically significant difference between the level of children's practice of electronic games according to age, gender, school stage, father's work, the family's monthly income, and the results are that there is no statistically significant difference between the level of children's practice of electronic games according to the mass of the body, the school stage The educational level of the father, the educational level of the mother, The research recommended for interest in the work of advisory programs to reduce the negative impact of electronic games on children
