Abstract

The current research aims to measure the effectiveness of a training program based on design thinking skills to develop self-marketin, and reduce the anxiety of the professional future for students of the faculty of Home Economics in various disciplines, the sample of study is formed from 120 students as amain sample and 30 students as an experimental sample enrolled in the Faculty of Home Economics - Helwan University, and the research tools included a general data form, a measure of self-marketing skills, a measure of future professional anxiety , A training program based on the design thinking entrance (prepared by two researchers), and the research followed the descriptive method and the experimental approach for one experimental group. The results of the research showed: There are differences which have statiscally significant at the level of 0.05-0.01 in the skills of self-marketing, and the presence of differences with statistically significant at the level of 0.05-0.01 in the anxiety of the professional future, a negative correlation between the self-marketing skills and the dimensions of the future career anxiety, and the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 significance among the experimental research sample individuals in the averages of the self-marketing skills, and the dimensions of the professional future anxiety before After applying the program in favor of telemetry.
The researchers recommend holding training courses and workshops in the colleges' training units to develop and refine the self-marketing skills of university students.
