Support in e-platforms and Its Relationship to Developing the Skills of Producing 3D Elements and Usability among Instrucational Technology Students

Abstract

The research problem crystallized in the lack of educational technology students' skills in producing three-dimensional elements, and investigating the impact of the different educational support style that suits them and fits electronic learning platforms and helps in developing their usability in the process of distance education and training, by knowing:

The basic skills needed to be developed for students of the fourth year, Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University, necessary to produce three-dimensional elements.
Using an electronic learning platform to develop the skills of producing 3D elements.
Determining the most appropriate educational support pattern for electronic learning platforms and for developing students' production skills of 3D elements.
Determining the type of educational support most appropriate for electronic learning platforms and for developing students' usability.

An intentional sample was chosen from students of the fourth year of the Computer Division, consisting of (60) students, and also those who have a desire to participate in addition to the availability of the necessary resources to implement the experiment (a computer, an Internet connection, possession of computer skills, dealing with websites, and participation. Interactive), and learning through an electronic learning platform according to two different types of educational support, namely, educational support (direct / indirect). A descriptive and quasi-experimental approach was used, and the empirical processing material was to provide direct and indirect support mode via an e-learning platform. The research tools included a cognitive test, note card, and a product scorecard for 3D object production skills.
