Abstract

The research aimed to identify the impact of Interactive e book Software Utilization in the Development of the Fourth Grade Students’ Achievement in Science (the unit of the solar system) in Ajloun Governorate. The researcher designed an achievement test in addition to the e book to achieve this aim. The study tools were applied on the two research groups: the experimental group which comprised (33) students from Sukreen Basic School, were taught by through the interactive electronic textbook. The second group which is the control group, consisted of (32) students were taught by using the usual traditional teaching method. The findings of the study.

The study revealed the following results:
There were no statistically significant differences between the means of the grades of the experimental group students and those of the control group students as scored in the pre-test applied by the textbook in the achievement test.
There were statistically significant differences between the means of the grades of the experimental group students and those of the control group students as scored in the post-test of the interactive e book in the achievement test in favor of the experimental group. This indicates that studying through is more efficient and has an active role in improving the students’ achievement level.
In light of the above mentioned results, the researcher recommends to:
Raise science teachers’ awareness of educational software utilization skills and how to apply them inside the classrooms.
Conduct more studies to identify the importance of applying effective and modern teaching methods such as multi-manners and approaches.
Suggesting, designing and implementing computer-based educational strategies and applying them on different subjects.
Organizing training workshops for teachers on designing and utilization of educational software
