Improving some skills of Ear training subject using the QR code for music faculties students

Abstract

This Research clearly addresses the improvement of student level of music faculties in some skills of solfeggio specially in dictation by using new technology especially Quick response code technology (QR Code). This technology helps us to make student depend on them self not totally on teacher by making the material available all the time on internet. So, student can listen to the examples and notate it. The research talk about melody examples that student notate it, rhythm examples and ear training. Research sample was formed from two groups, one of them was control group and the second group for testing the new method. The theoretical chapter that talk about how to use this technology (QR Code) and the tools that needed to use it like smart devices and smart mobile. The results of this research appeared that the improvement degrees of testing group are higher than the improvement degrees of controlling group.
