Skills of Statistical Analysis and Explanation of Research Results required for the Post-graduate Students

Abstract

This research aims to define the statistical analysis skills using SPSS program, explain the research results in necessary for students of post graduate studies to qualify them to analyze and explain the results of their research in both Mg and PhD stages without need to get help from such centers to do statistical analysis for the data they got to describe and explain. The researcher here, listed these skills using the analytic descriptive method to extract skills from research and videos, available on the internet and YouTube, and also supported herself with statistic experts' opinions. The skills list in its primary form included (9) main skills and (56) sub- skills, the list was shown to statistic specialists to judge its out credit using SPSS V.23 program. After getting comments and opinions from judges, the researcher did the necessary changes they agreed on, embodied in adding some skills, deleting others and modifying some else. The list final shape included (9) main skills with (66) sub-skills.
