The effectiveness of a proposed program in developing cognitive awareness for female students Specific Education College- Minia University

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the extent of the impact of a program to develop cognitive food awareness among students of the Faculty of Specific Education in Minia University. Research was using two approaches descriptive analytical and the semi-experimental.  Sample included 10% of the number of students in the first year from each of the different departments of the faculty (Home economics- Educational technology- Educational media- Music education) then total number of sample was one hundred  students. The research was prepared a questionnaire to measure the level of cognitive awareness of the students before and after applying the program to achieve the aim of the research .the research reached some important results as follow: There is a statistically significant (p≤ 0.001) difference between the female students ’mean  scores in the study group of the cognitive food awareness scale before and after exposure to the program in favor of post-application
