A proposed vision for the development of integrated learning at King Abd-Elaziz University In light of modern global trends

Abstract

Many developed countries found that traditional university institutions are no longer able to fulfill their new responsibilities and roles using traditional learning styles. The concept of distance education, virtual classrooms, e-university and e-learning, and integrated learning has emerged. A proposed concept for the development of integrated learning at King Abd-Elaziz University in the light of modern global trends, where the study dealt with the definition of the concept of integrated learning and its importance and characteristics and factors of success and how to apply it. The study came up with a proposal to develop and improve the integrated learning in King Abd-Elaziz University in the light of modern international trends and comprehensive quality standards, highlighting the benefits of moving towards integrated education economically, educationally and socially. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the descriptive analytical method based on the results of previous researches and studies published in this field.
The study concluded that the experts approved the proposal by more than 91% calling for reassurance to the pillars and pillars of this proposal to exceed the ratio of the first standard deviation in the moderate curve. The proposal emphasized that integrated and e-learning in King Abdul Aziz University is constantly evolving despite the difficult challenges facing it; Educational in all parts of the university and its branches.
The study recommended the need to start qualifying and training faculty members to integrate e-learning with traditional forms of integrated learning while adhering to the standards of quality and academic accreditation local and global. As well as the adoption of the strategy of integrated learning in the teaching of a number of courses in colleges.
