Abstract

Building good digital content has become important as it depends primarily on its compatibility with the characteristics of students, taking into account the individual differences between them, and chose the most appropriate methods and the simplest sources that help to deliver information to them as soon as possible, and suitable for technological developments. The aim of this research is to develop planning skills for the design of digital learning objectsfor students of Instrucational Technology by investigating the impact of designing a participatory learning environment based on semantic web tasks in developing these skills. The descriptive approach was used to identify actual needs for developing planning skills for the design of digital learning objects, to build design standards for a participatory learning environment based on semantic web, and to propose an appropriate educational design model for the environment. The experimental approach was also used to reveal the impact of designing a participatory learning environment based on semantic web tasks in the development of cognitive aspects and skill performance associated with planning skills for the design of digital learning elements.
A random sample of (30) male and female students was selected from the third year students in the Department of Instrucational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University. I used VideoNot.es and DuckDuckGo as a semantic web tool. The measurement tools consisted of a cognitive achievement test and a note on the skills under consideration. One of the most important results of the research was the effectiveness of participatory learning environment based on semantic web tasks in developing planning skills for designing digital learning objects. I recommend using semantic web tasks in a participatory learning environment when preparing courses for students, and training students to work with Web 3.0 tools to make the most of them.
