Abstract

The aim of the research is to measure the effectiveness of the interactive video for the use of the grid system in computer graphic programs in the development of e-book pages design skills for the students of the third year of study in the department of
Educational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, in Minia University. The research sample consisted of an experimental group of third-year students in the department of Educational Technology, while the research tools in the achievement test were to measure the cognitive aspect of e-book design skills by employing the grid system, practical test and product evaluation card (e-book pages) to measure the performance aspect of skills, The results showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the scores of the experimental group in the pre and post measurements in favor of the post in the achievement test, the practical test and the product evaluation card. The research recommended the importance of using the interactive video as a technique developed a lot in The contemporary period, and also using the grid system employing computer graphics programs when designing e-books pages.
