Abstract

The title of the research: “The Effectiveness of a Program based on the Differentiated Instruction Strategies on developing the mathematical communication skills, for 2nd preparatory Pupils.”
The research aimed to verify the effectiveness of a Program based on the Differentiated Instruction Strategies on developing the mathematical communication skills.
In order to investigate the previous, the researcher prepared the following:

A program based on the Differentiated Instruction Strategies to. Besides the teacher’s guide, the related worksheets and the teaching aids.
A test in the mathematical communication skills.

The sample of this research was (80) students - from 25th of January preparatory mixed school, at Dayrout educational administration in Assiut governorate that was divided into two groups: (40) students as a control group, which learned using the traditional method and (40) students as an experimental group, which learned using the program based on Differentiated Instruction Strategies.
The findings of the research indicated that the experimental group which learned using the program based on Differentiated Instruction Strategies surpassed the control group which learned using the traditional method at the mathematical communication skills, for 2nd preparatory Pupils.
The research concluded some recommendations such as: To conduct a similar researches on the other subjects and on students of different educational stages in order to compare the effectiveness of using differentiated instruction strategies to Modern trends in teaching in teaching like (Mental maps, Maps of Thinking, flipped learning, The Model of Creative Problem Solving, Visual Thinking Networks (VTN)) in the development of the mathematical communication skills. As well as To conduct researches in order to identify the effectiveness of the use of differentiated instruction strategies in teaching on developing the achievement the thinking skills, achievement motivation, Reflective Thinking Skills and the extrasensory perception for the students and other groups such as: the low achievers, learning disabled, children with mental disability who are capable to learn and those with Hearing – Impaired.
