Abstract

The current research draws its importance from the importance of the virtual reality in the development of the teaching and learning process. The application of this reality will play an active role in the development of the educational system and in keeping with the spirit of the age and addressing the problems that have burdened traditional education. Therefore, the aim of the research is to design a proposed program based on the virtual reality that includes some of the courses of teaching learning technology for the master students at the Faculty of Education, Bisha University, and its effectiveness in developing the skills of the productive mind. The measurement instrument was a performance test in the skills of the productive mind. The experimental approach is followed by semi-experimental design, which is based on comparing the tribal and remote applications of the research group. The most important results were the effectiveness of the proposed program based on the virtual learning environment in the development of mental skills, which is composed of the habits of the mind produced by the students and masters of the Faculty of Education, Bisha University.
