University youth attitudes towards the issue of sexual harassment - a field study

Abstract

    The current study sought to identify university students' attitudes towards the issue of sexual harassment, and adopted a researcher on the descriptive method, and use two tools questionnaire and scale trends prepared by the researcher, and the study sample of university students at the Universities (Cairo and Minya), strong(442) Single, by (219) Single of the University of Cairo, and (223) Single Minia University, and a simple distributed at random, and the study found:

• The weakness of religious faith and moral among young people was at the forefront of the causes of sexual harassment.
• issued the street places that are frequently the occurrence of sexual harassment by (86.43%).
• There are no statistically significant differences between males and females in the university youth trends study sample about the issue of sexual harassment.
• There are significant differences between the Cairo University students and students of the University of Minya in the youth trends in university study sample about the issue of sexual harassment in the direction of Minya University students.
• There are no statistically significant differences between students residing popular neighborhoods Owalgari students and residents of upscale neighborhoods or cities in the university youth trends study sample about the issue of sexual harassment.
