The role of School Theater activities in developing life Skills in view of the sustainable development goals of preparatory schools

Abstract

\The aim of the research is to identify the role of school theatre activities in developing life skills in view of the sustainable development goal s of preparatory schools, The research belongs to two types of studies: a descriptive study, using a survey method for a sample of (58 individuals) from school theatre specialists, and a quasi-experimental study, which was conducted on a sample of second-year middle school students at Al-Kafrawi Mixed Middle School in New Damietta, consisting of (100 individuals) distributed equally between two groups, a control and an experimental group, The research tools were applied which are: Theatrical performances were among the most used school theatre activities to actually develop life skills (96.5%), The impact of practicing school theater activities was significant in developing life skills in light of sustainable development goals among students in the experimental group, as the total impact size of the experiment reached (0.959)
