Abstract

The aim of the research was to develop a learning environment based on the interaction between adaptive display patterns and sensory learning methods to develop the skills of using Household Appliances and raise the level of technological acceptance among students of the Department of Home Economics at Alexandria University, focusing on the interaction between adaptive display patterns and sensory learning methods. The goal was to enhance skills in using household appliances and increase technological acceptance. The research utilized a descriptive analytical approach and a semi-experimental approach, with measurement tools including a questionnaire to identify sensory learning styles and a list of skills related to household appliances. The main sample consisted of 44 students, divided based on sensory learning method (auditory or visual) and adaptive presentation style (conditional or flexible). The results showed that the adaptive environment positively impacted the development of appliance usage skills and technological acceptance for all groups. Statistical analysis revealed significant differences between groups, with the visual conditional group outperforming others in some dimensions. The study highlighted the effectiveness of the interaction between adaptive display styles and sensory learning methods in enhancing learning outcomes.
