The Effectiveness Of Suggested Program To Acquiring The Extension And Contraction Skill For The Violin Students' Left - Hand Finger

Introduction : The researcher pointed out that the violin is the nearest musical instruments to the human voice, and requires many skills, including extension and contraction skill of the left hand fingers.
The research problem: There is an ignorance from Some Violin students to play extension and contraction skill of the left hand fingers, which negatively affects the level of their performance, which called for the preparation of an analytical study of that skill.
The research aims to:
1.                       Attention to the performance of the extension and contraction fingering of the left hand fingers, which found in some works and correctly.
2.     Improving the level of violin students through the suggested exercises.
Then the researcher viewed the importance of the research, its theses, procedures, terms and previous studies and other related research.
Theoretical study:
Included two studies: Left arm, Extension and Contraction skill.
Then the researcher wrote (16 exercises) for training in the skill of extension and contraction, all in the main position, and he viewed the results, then the Arabic and foreign references, and Arabic / English research summaries.
