Abstract

This study is entitled the effectiveness of a training program to implement products using some varied crochet techniques to support the single-headed woman, and it aimed to provide the female breadwinner category with a set of knowledge and skills related to crochet products based on various techniques to implement crochet in a modular fashion as this method depends on the implementation of separate units of crochet They are formed to obtain the product, in order to make the breadwinner woman able to open a field for work and improve her family conditions, as this category of society deserves all the support from different groups of society, especially members of the faculty in universities, and the study has achieved the desired results. It showed the effectiveness of the prepared program in providing the research sample with the set of knowledge and skills included in the program (square units with basic crochet stitches - "Irish" crochet techniques used - granny crochet techniques - crochet techniques used c2c - bonbons - pop balls - puff bobs or "flat bobs" “- the crochet technique used by the biscuit bob - the different knitting methods), as well as the implementation of a group of products using different crochet techniques. The products have been accepted by the arbitrators, and the study also recommended attention to preparing training programs for the breadwinner women and other different groups of society.
