Mixing is one of the main factors for obtaining the required natural and physical properties in the cloth, as these properties play a fundamental role in determining the quality standards, and these characteristics are of utmost importance to consumers, to achieve physiological comfort, and researchers also to keep up with the latest fabrics around the world; And because of its importance in promoting the final products. This study aims to determine the effect of mixing cotton fibers on the physical and mechanical properties of knitted fabrics for sportswear. The study was conducted using three mixtures of 50%: 50% each (cotton / polyester, cotton / modal, cotton / viscose), and three Structural structures for each mixed fabric (single jersey, Fine Rib, Interlock), and an experimental and analytical approach was followed to reach the goals of the study, and experiments were performed on the study samples to measure the physical properties such as weight and thickness, and mechanical properties such as blast strength, air permeability and water vapor permeability and UV protection factor and thermal insulation, and the study concluded that the mixing process had a significant effect on the difference in the physical, mechanical and comfort properties of the fabrics under study.
