To achieve the goals of the research, follow the descriptive approach when writing the theoretical framework, and limit the educational literature, and previous studies that dealt with research variables, and describe the procedures that were followed to prepare its tools. The quasi-experimental approach was used to measure the effectiveness of independent variables on dependent variables. The research sample consisted of a group of middle school students consisting of (60) male and female students. They were divided into two equal groups, one experimental, using instrucational e games, and the second control used the traditional method. Measurement tools consisted of testing written expression skills, an e games program used to teach grammar and a teacher’s guide to how to use computer games to teach grammar were prepared. Measurement tools were applied before and after learning, and the research results showed the superiority of students who used instrucational e games over their counterparts in the control group students in written expression skills by teaching grammatical rules.

Abstract: The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a proposed program based on cognitive journeys across the web in home economics to develop positive thinking and psychological rigidity for orphan students, and the research relied on the experimental design of two groups; one is experimental and consisted of (17) students, and the other was made up of (15) students The research tools included (a measure of positive thinking and a measure of psychological rigidity), and the educational materials for the research included (electronic software for knowledge trips across the web for the content of the proposed program, a guide for the teacher, and a student activity booklet). The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the average degrees of orphan student performance in the pre and post applications of research tools in favor of the experimental group, and the results also resulted in a positive correlation between the growth of positive thinking and psychological rigidity among orphan students in the experimental group after teaching The proposed program. The research recommended the necessity of providing educational programs for orphans aimed at satisfying their mental, psychological and social needs, as well as the need to use technological teaching methods that are concerned with training the learner on how to obtain information on his own, and developing various aspects of his thinking.
